Human beings can be absolutely terrible to wildlife; consider the tales of baby water animals who die because of tourists taking selfies with them. But this isn't that kind of story: In fact, NBC correspondent Kerry Sanders helped rescue two dolphins, one baby and one adult, in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma's destruction in Florida.

Sanders was on Marco Island, located in southwestern Florida, when he spotted a baby dolphin. He and another person helped coax the baby back into the ocean. But that wasn't the end of Sanders's dolphin-related feats of kindness.

An hour later, he came upon an adult dolphin also stranded on the beach, and with seven other people, carried the animal back into the water. As he put it, "It was big, It took a lot of people together to get that dolphin back into the water. It was heavy, not easy."
