PEOPLE are being urged to help in a marine survey.
In collaboration with the Sea Watch Foundation, Cumbria Wildlife Trust is recruiting residents to study whales, dolphins and porpoises at South Walney National Nature Reserve.
The free event is taking place on Sunday July 24 from 2pm to 4pm, and will give a clearer picture of marine activity off the coast.
Residents should bring binoculars if they have them and don't need to be experts to join in.
Booking is required by calling 01539 816300 or emailing mail@cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk
