SEA SNOT
Turkey is dealing with a plague of sea snot. That’s right, sea snot. It's as gross as it sounds and it's also a really big environmental problem. First thing's first, a giant did not sneeze over the ocean. This stuff is officially known as marine mucilage and it's caused by an algae that thrives on warm polluted water. It was first documented in Turkey in 2007, but this is the largest outbreak in the Sea of Marmara is the biggest on record.

Experts reckon warmer sea temperatures caused by climate change and untreated sewage in the sea have encouraged the algae. It stops sunlight from getting to fish and marine life, and they need the sun to survive. And if falls below the surface it can poison sea creatures.

Turkey's government is calling on volunteers to help out with a big clean up this week. It's also promised to turn the sea into a protected area and reduce water pollution. So hopefully the sea can be kept safe from this snotty problem in the future.

VICTORIA COVID UPDATE
Victoria's COVID outbreak has now grown to about 80. At the moment, Melbourne's lockdown is due to end on Thursday but health authorities say people need to keep getting tested and vaccinated.

LILIBET DIANA
Prince Harry and Meghan have had another baby. There are no pictures yet but we know its a girl and they've named her Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, or Lili for short. Lilibet is actually a nickname given to the Queen by her father, King George, when she was a toddler. And Diana was Harry and William's mum. Lilibet is the Queen's 11th great grandchild and eighth in line to the British throne.

FRENCH OPEN
From Roger Federer to Serena Williams and Dylan Alcott. These guys have all lost at the French Open. Williams lost in straight sets to Elena Rybakina in the fourth round. Dylan Alcott lost in the quad wheelchair doubles final. And Federer, wait, Federer didn't even play. Yep, after a tough third round win against Dominic Koepfer, Federer announced he would be pulling out of the tournament to rest a knee injury. Some people aren't too happy, saying he shouldn't have been playing in the tournament if his body wasn't up to it

CRITERIUM DU DAUPHINE
Ok let's move to a winner. Aussie Richie Porte has won the Criterium du Dauphine by just 17 seconds. The race is a week long slog through the French Alps and after finishing runner up twice, Richie was pretty happy with the win.

SECOND FASTEST FEMALE RUNNER
Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce is fast, like, really fast. The Jamaican sprinter just became the second fastest woman ever, running a blistering 10.63 seconds in an Olympic warm up event. Imagine when it's the real deal.

DRONE RACING
Take your marks, set, drone! This is a drone racing competition in Russia, where participants from all over the country compete to see who can build the fastest drone. Gee, it looks like pretty strenuous exercise.

CREATURES SENT INTO SPACE
From the deep depths of the cosmos come these space aliens. Ah, just kidding. They're actually from earth, but they have just been sent into space. 128 glow in the dark baby squid and about 20,000 microscopic eight legged water bears have just arrived at the International Space Station. Why? Well, intergalactic domination, obviously. But also for scientists to conduct a bunch of experiments, like how they'll handle spaceflight, and whether they'll be able to survive the vacuum of space. Oh and just to give you an example of how hardy these water bears are, they were shipped up frozen and thawed out once they reached the ISS.

AMONG US NUGGET
There's an imposter among us, in the form of a chicken nugget. How's this for the headline: McDonald's Among Us shaped nugget from BTS meal sells for $99,997 US. Or almost $130,000 Aussie dollarydoos. The bidding began about a week ago, starting at the measly price of 99 cents. But then, it kind of blew up. Partly thanks to the official Among Us twitter, who shared the listing. Who bought it? What will they do with it? Will they actually pay up? I have no idea. But if the among us twitter is anything to go by, somebody, somewhere is eatin' expensive chicken nugget.
