AUSTIN, Texas -- The toxic algae bloom in Austin continues to keep dogs out of the water.

According to city officials, the latest algae samples from Lady Bird Lake show no toxins. However, they're still urging people to keep their pets away from the water.

At least five dogs died after swimming there this summer. There is no way to treat or remove the algae.

We're told it'll die off when cooler temperatures return in the fall.
