Paddle boarding with dolphins — sounds chill, right?
Nope. Not at all.
Australian paddle boarder Andrew Hill was hitting the waves off the coast of Gracetown, West Australia, when he found himself in the path of a pod of dolphins.
It was the wrong place to be. Seemingly defying the laws of dolphin physics, one of the animals leapt out of the water and body-slammed Hill, knocking him off his board. The entire encounter was captured in a now-viral video by photographer Lucas Englert:
Don't worry — Hill is doing just fine. The paddle boarder told told 7News Perth, "[It was a] fairly legal hip and shoulder I think. And hats off to him, he collected me really well."
In the battle for aquatic supremacy, that dolphin definitely scored a win over Hill. But the story begs the question: Could a dolphin take down some of our favorite water-loving celebrities?
It's time for a poll.
