Dolphin Rescued Off The Coast Of South Padre Island

A Bottlenose Dolphin in a dire situation is back in the wild thanks to a group of volunteers.

The dolphin, swimming off the coast of Texas' south padre island was entangled in fishing gear.

On Monday, rescue crews from Seaworld and the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network captured the dolphin and removed more than three pounds of fishing line and hooks from its body.

They also gave the mammal a physical and antibiotics before releasing back into the ocean.
