Humpback whale delights tourists along Tasmania’s coastline

Tourists visiting Tasmania have been treated to an exciting spectacle as humpback whales begin their migration along the coast.

Recent sightings near Wineglass Bay and Eaglehawk Neck have left visitors amazed, with many sharing their thrilling encounters on social media.

Humpback whale sightings are common in southern Tasmania during this time of year.

From May to July, they migrate north towards Queensland and Western Australia and return south from September to November.
