Tokyo Japan’s whaling fleet has returned from a four-month expedition to the Antarctic during which it killed 333 whales. Officials say that the hunt was for ecological research and have lobbied to overturn a ban by the International Court of Justice, which ruled that it was not for scientific purposes as claimed.
