Thrilled ferry passengers spot pod of killer whales in the River Clyde

A KILLER whale pops up for air in Scotland’s River Clyde.

The giant orca was among a pod of the sea hunters seen by thrilled ferry passen­gers on Saturday afternoon.

Lindsay Moss filmed the group, which included a youngster, near Dunoon, Argyll and Bute.

All were seen rising to the surface before disappearing back beneath the water.

Despite their 'killer' nickname, they have never been known to show aggression to humans in the wild.
