Two killer whales have been spotted east of Rockabill, off Co Dublin.
The pair were filmed on Saturday by crew on board a fishing vessel.
The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group says it is trying to establish if the animals were 'John Coe' and 'Dopey Dick' of the Scottish West Coast Community group of killer whales.
The IWDG says it is the second killer whale sighting it has validated since 30 October, when another pair were recorded east of Skerries and travelling north.
