LONG BEACH ISLAND - Visitors to Long Beach Island on Tuesday said their perfect beach day took a sad turn as they watched a shark attack a wounded dolphin.
Witnesses reported seeing a wounded dolphin swimming near Beach Haven earlier in the day and then later watched from the beach as sharks, then seagulls, fed on the dolphin.
