This is the stomach-wrenching moment a breaching humpback whale landed too close for comfort near a boat full of tourists.
Mark Collins, 49, was out with family off the coast of Western Australia's Exmouth when they spotted some giants of the deep circling a tourist dinghy.

'It was quite a spectacle, but it could have been a disaster,' he told WAToday.
He said he had spotted whales in the wild before, but never seen one land as close to a boat.
'We thought 'Geez, that was a bit close',' he said.
