South-east Queensland is on Migaloo watch after the white humpback whale was spotted north of Newcastle on Friday.
The popular humpback is a highlight for whale watchers and is expected to pass the Gold Coast region on either Sunday or Monday.

Sea World Whale Watch tweeted on Friday afternoon: "#MIGALOO HAS BEEN SPOTTED! He was seen down south this morning and we expect him on the Gold Coast in the next 3 days!"
