Hitchcock was named by Karen F. of Charlotte, NC. during our first 'Name that Dolphin' contest. This is Karen's reason for the name 'Hitchcock'

From the very top of the dorsal fin, if you trace down the first curve on the right view, the tiny little spike that comes out, and then the long round curve, it reminds me of the silhouettes of Alfred Hitchcock that you see when they show one of his films on cable TV. The tiny little spike especially reminds me of the shape of Hitchcock's nose in the silhouette.
